Hyundai has released a design sketch of the next-generation i10 ahead of its official reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

According to the company, the new i10 has a “young and dynamic design” with a wide front grille incorporating daytime running lights. Triangular air curtains accentuate the width and stance of the car, as well as improving aerodynamics, while the X-shaped C-pillar “clearly identifies the car”.

Hyundai will also include a bunch of new tech with the baby hatch, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging and a rear view camera. The new model will get one of the most fully featured safety packages in its class, including forward collision avoidance assist to detect both cars and pedestrians in front of the vehicle. The car is also equipped with driver attention monitoring and lane keep assist as standard. Drivers of the new i10 can also add the optional High Beam Assist feature.

Expect more details to trickle through before the Frankfurt Motor Show.
